I’m a cinematographer with a nomadic spirit. After completing my degree in Asian/ African Studies and Social Sciences at Humboldt University Berlin, I followed my passion for film and studied cinematography and documentary filmmaking at Filmarche Berlin and at Zelig School for Documentary Film in Bolzano, Italy. In 2016 I graduated as DOP with the feature length documentary ‚Before I Met You‘. I worked on projects in Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Norway and Germany and am looking forward to new experiences and exciting projects.
For me, being behind the camera is the best way to uncover the mystery of humanity and human emotions. Being a mindful observer of reality, I always aim to capture the essence of a moment and to precisely translate ideas and stories into visual image, creating the unique universe of a film.
Since 2021 I also teach at Yangon Film School and live between Bangkok and Berlin.
